All the hysteria over Hillsbrough every year means standing is never going to get the go ahead.

Unless Liverpool back the plans, with support of the relevant groups. Seems unlikely though.

Based upon my experience on Wednesday evening at ER, most of us stand most of the time anyway in most of the stands. I think I'd spend the money on a new mobile and effective striker. For now anyway, but if we ever reach the PL again, then we may have spare cash for this kind of thing.
