Oh, and Palarse play goal music at the U23s.

Absolute wankers.

Glad all over, me. Now I've warmed up a bit running home. Yeah, decent game. Loads of missed chances. Ayew has a poor attitude; no wonder he's not in their team. Good goal from Bogusz

palace have a pretty big, densely populated, catchment area that gives them access to a lot of young talent, are often well represented in england under-whatever teams.

though one or two of them have historically been a bit iffy agewise, like a young[ish] victor moses who turned up in croydon early in the milennium, declaring himself a 12-yr old asylum seeking orphan, whilst in foster care was by all accounts the best schoolboy player ever seen in these [or possibly any] parts, tho his career seems to have run curiously aground aged barely 28.

What EO and DL said, mainly (and especially the Izzy bit). Shack and Clarke got a half each and were the best of us, no one can hit a decent corner, and the hot dogs are vom.

Oh, and Woy was there but no sign of God.

U23s 0-0 at H-T. Only caught last 10 mins of half, so no real opinion of what's been going on. Berardi at LB, so that answers one question.

Random thought: does (did) MBs one club strategy extend as far as resting Phillips yesterday that he might help the U23s in their semi final today, albeit it backfired monumentally? Might Corberan have had a quiet word?

On top in the 1st half and now 2 complete fuck ups at the back mean we are 2-0 down!

Newcastle have done absolutely nothing at all apart from defend deep............2 gifts.

Izzy Brown has done fuck all again. This is why he doesn't play him.

Depressingly familiar pattern to the game.

Loads of possession albeit without the real clear cut chances but we should really have been 1 up at half time. Newcastle are just showing us out wide inviting crosses into the box knowing they will deal with it.

The pitch is awful though which has definitely helped them rather than us.

And yes Izzy Brown has done fuck all bar showboat.

Well if there's one consolation it'll show people in charge of next seasons recrutement that there's not that many in the under 23s ready to make the huge step up.

Shame really but facts are facts.

I'll drive Izzy Brown etc etc.

u23 2018 Season

Newcastle are a good side and having to start several first team players created a disjointed match again. It’s actually impressive that we even made it to the semi-finals of the PL Cup. We could still win the PDL outright in the coming weeks, which is no small achievement given where we finished two seasons ago.

Newcastle were very poor until the 2nd of 2 absolute gifts hit the back of our net.

We did everything but show composure and finishing..........something that the 1st team do as well.

It is no wonder that top strikers cost so much money.

They’re playing well, again but have the same problem as the first team, can’t put it in the net!
The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it.

This is going to end up a defeat again if they are not careful.

Lots of good work followed by overplaying and the wrong option. No end product and the scoreline is playing Coventry back into the game.
