The possession thing - I still think they’re not bad players, but it looks like they’re being told to move the ball on more quickly than they have the skills to support. On the whole we have gathered a good squad. Especially in midfield and the wingers department. It is not a bottom three squad however it will be understeer current manager.
If Bamford goes on TV and says the tactics are shit then you know something isn't right.

Just come on here to post those very words.
If they sack him today and get someone in quickly (especially Corboran who would settle in faster than anyone) we could have had a match plus several training sessions up to the 2nd scum game. Ok we will lose both games but it gives us a fighting chance for the following six pointers.
If we wait and then take a week to appoint someone, we will be fucked. Players are great at using a scapegoat to not perform and Marsch is a dead man walking.
I will be taking the stress out of the situation to coin a phrase and not watching us until the useless cunt is gone. The Forest game went exactly as I knew it would and all it did was ruin my Sunday and make me a grumpy fucker, don’t need it. I feel sorry for season ticket holders who have had to watch this shit.

it's, in fairness, it's a great tribute to raphina & how good he was here, none of this messing about retiring a shirt number or whatever, we've gone the whole hog and retired the entire position, maybe even his entire area of the pitch.AndyPaul wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 5:56 amI can help with this. Marsch said in his post-match TV interview "I feel like we've had this feeling a lot: we've played quite well, been on top of matches, but we find ways to lose". Perhaps Marsch could consider organising the defence. When the goal is scored, we have nine players in our penalty area, as compared with only 4 from Forest. Ayling was sort of marking Johnson but then moved back towards the goal, which left two Forest players unmarked on the edge of the box, with Sinisterra between them, not marking anyone. The header from Pascal was poor but that goal wasn't finding a way to lose, it was bad management and poor organisation.

Jesse, you’re making it really hard to be both American and from Wisconsin right now and that pisses me off.
There are many here among us, me among them, who think the motivational speaker hokum comes straight from the High Middle Ages of Bullshit.
Please just watch a video on how to defend corners.

To your point, our goal difference suggests we should be pretty safe.AndyPaul wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 7:19 amOn the whole we have gathered a good squad. Especially in midfield and the wingers department. It is not a bottom three squad however it will be understeer current manager.

We find ways to lose because we don’t fix our systemic defensive problems, we don’t create enough quality chances, and we don’t always finish when we do. Two of the three go straight to the manager.

I imagine it’s perfectly normal for a coach to send their players home with some inspirational viewing material. Difference is it wouldn’t normally be put out there and formulated into a noteworthy element of a long form article. So either someone is putting this stuff out there to make him look daft, or he’s putting it out there under the misinformed belief it makes him look astute.

Goal difference?? We need points!
Sorry, just venting. Watching that yesterday and reading on here has not helped the old blood pressure. I need to get a cat just so I can go full Kurt Zouma on it.

Just before a sacking in modern football we get snippets. Maybe from the club themselves, players, unhappy staff or ITK journalists.
It happened with Bielsa, the Heck & Monk. Probably from a mixture of all the sources listed above.
Bamford looked thoroughly fed up in his interview yesterday and we looked a very unhappy bunch of players as the game wore on. Shoulders hunched, niggly fouls and altercations that just played into Forest's hands, players moaning at the ref about anything.

Yesterday, I watched most of the game while playing with the cat - it is much better for your blood pressure and mental well-being than the remorse you will feel having drop-kicked the poor thing into next door's back garden.Matt White wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 12:16 pmWatching that yesterday and reading on here has not helped the old blood pressure. Couldn’t get a ticket for yesterday but, being my local fixture, I travelled over anyway in the hope a spare would turn up. I drank heartily with dozens of Leeds fans in the Canalhouse before giving up the ghost at 1.30pm and getting the train home.
It was one of my most enjoyable Leeds trips in recent memory.
