He looks and sounds exactly what we need, a right character to have around.
Versatile anywhere in the middle, anorl.

He also say's likes a bit of shithousing - A ready made replacement for Klich :thumbl:

The athletic article says we were looking in the summer of 2020 before he went to Juve, initially on loan - I doubt Biela would have approved on weight/body fat alone.

I like the signing, it's a position we needed to cover, he has reasonable pedigree at the top level, doesn't look like he suffers too badly with injuries and a loan with option to buy is as good as it gets.

It's disappointing to see professional footballers at the top level who aren't in peak physical condition. He would definitely be a better player with a lower body fat.

And according to the vid that TSB just posted, he shits himself if he drinks an espresso.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Looks like Forest will have Keylor Navas in goal Sunday.

Is he a keeper, then?

All for that, looked on the verge of being fully washed up at the World Cup. That said, it would be instead of Henessey, who is one of the worst goalkeepers I’ve seen play at Prem level

Peacock is simulcasting the Sky deadline day show. What a bunch of tedious shit.

For this reason, the supporter is the best thing in football." - Marcelo Bielsa

Forest signing anything that walks …ridiculous!

Shelvey is a talented player who consistently never made the most of his abilities - he’ll probably put in a World Class debut performance against us … then slowly decline over the subsequent games.

Not a bad window. Retaining Harrison made it even better. Hate to see Struijk get injured though.

It's possible, I suppose, but he just doesn't like having to run about - which he'll have to do a lot of against us.

Instrumental in Newcastle (undeservedly) winning at ER just over a year ago. The beginning of the run which cost Bielsa his job.

He was then.

I'm sure the general approach at forest is a disaster but given we play them next I'm nervous about the short term boost of 3 deadline day signings.

Though I'm massively encouraged by Everton's window,. On of their best out for £45m but absolutely no one in. If they had somehow appointed Bielsa he'd have walked again today.

My take on it is more from the angle that I wouldn't have wanted Shelvey at Leeds, because he's not good enough/we already have better. So him going to Forest is a good thing.

Forest offered me a two-year contract but I had to turn them down because the thought of seeing Cooper's rat face every day gave me hives.

Still no confirmation about Rodrigo being injured, by the way.

The lad on Waccoe, who has been right about stuff before, reckons he knows the dad of one of U21s, who was [apparently] at the Spire hospital for something and was waiting to be seen with Rodders - who told him about his ankle and mentioned six weeks out.
However, in contrast, a woman, supposed to be a cleaner at Thorpe Arch, reckons to have run into Rodrigo up there only a day or so ago, and he seemed fine, posing for a pic with her son. [She tweeted about it.]
So, who the fuck knows?

Isn't Shelvey one of those that always seems to score against us?
I like it. What is it?
