Been to Elland Road 3 times this season, Wolves, Everton and Villa.
All those games were ruined by time wasting and rolling on the floor at every opportunity and the failure of the refs to deal with it early in the game.

At least we try to play football, even if it ends up shit.

is it time to start praising massimo cellino and nicola salerno, massimo's orta, for signing liam cooper for £600k from chesterfield?

the bloke has captained us to the premier league and we still look better with him in the team.

just thought welsh might need reminding that it wasn't massimo who bought all those great players.

Cellino dug the foundations to build what we have we have here today. (Premiership Football).
Without him there would not have been any Radz or Beilsa.

Of course many choose to ignore that.
History won't though.
sorry for digging this old trench up but i'm bored....

there were elements of the cellino reign i liked - single vision of one figurehead, the nuttiness of not liking the number 17 and the colour purple, the single minded passion for football, his daughter's arse.

there were elements that i understood, the tight-fistedness, the parochial vision. the bloke was like an italian brian clough, he liked his own opinions the most.

apart from the instability and draining of the swimming pool to save a few quid and his mental manegerial appointments and subsequent sackings, then paying players a pittance compared to sheffield united, he was alright. if only massimo had a few more quid.

then wouldn't it be ace if radz had a few more quid? at least he's not some massive corporation, he's like your local coffee shop owner against starbucks. (yeah i know the tur to myanmar was a fuck up, but in the scheme of things was it that big a deal?)

you know where the buck stops and you know he's got us out of the championship after donkeys years. i fucking hate that some people think he shouldn't have a twitter poresence, that he's not allowed to have a personal opinion on things even when i don't agree with it. i don't agree with some of you lot but i don't have a beef with you saying them. anyway most of the stuff peope jump on is pretty tame.

can you imagine leeds being fully run by a small arm of the san francisco 49ers? fuck that. it might mean we can spend a few more quid but what the fuck do they understand and feel about football? we'd be the side-arm of a plaything of the mega rich. radz cares more and has invested far more of his own wealth. he's like a less mental cellino. with him at least we have a football identity.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

All good points, Q

Although Cellino put a bigger percentage of his personal fortune into the club than Radz has.

And with a bit more luck he could have taken us up during Monk's spell at the club.

Have no doubt. History will show Leeds has been good for Radz rather than the other way round.

He'll walk away with a cool £200m profit. And we'll have won zilch.

We probably need to thank whoever was shit the day we played chesterfield in preseason? Was it Wootton & Pearce? (I actually thought Pearce was decent, Cooper broadly on a par but with less experience at that time).

Cooper has been excellent, I'm pleased we stuck with him, even when he was the spare part behind Bartley and Pontus.

yeah, it's been six years since we quite rightly at the time concluded that cooper wasn't quite up to the standard required for a half-hearted second tier promotion push. I really take my hat off to the guy, coming back in after a long time out, up against bigger, faster, technically better, players every week in the FAPL and nearly always managing to hold his head above water, the guy has been and is a really first rate 'servant' to the club, I really really take my hat off to him.

Apart from The Championship. I definitely remember us waving a trophy about in the air.

Was driving home from a work trip, so I listened on the radio, TalkSport commentary at that, a special kind of shit. It’s not a sport that translates wonderfully to radio in the first place, but those narrative-driven clowns can go screw.

Anyway, should I even bother to watch the replay? Seemed awful to my ears and those of you who witnessed it seem like it deserves the end of Raiders Of The Lost Ark close your eyes treatment.

Have we now stooped so low that we feel that as an achievement.

Rather 'Tinpot' is my own view of it.

It's almost as embarrassing as our January the 3rd song.

It's worth watching just to view the Ref's (Performance).
Luckily I watched it in a bar in Thailand. If I had been at home my boot would have smashed my telly.

It really was that shocking.
The ironic cheers when he gave us a free-kick in the second half was brilliant.

I never had a very good view but it looked liked we should have had a penalty?
Never even went to VAR?

I suspect Aaronson was leaning too far in to the Villa player to get a penalty, fucked if I understand the rules these days, but I wouldn't have given it.

Unbelievable that we finished the game with five yellows to their two, Young & Martínez should have been warned in the first half for time wasting for starters.

Wouldn't waste my time watching that shitshow.
Almost nothing to be gained other than good performances from Koch and Cooper.

We were pretty lucky not to get dicked

XG - Leeds 0.32 : Villa 2.58.

Also there are plenty of complaints about their niggly fouls, but we committed 23 to their 12

This is like a return to Warnock days

Ewwww!!

I saw that XG nonsense yesterday, Watkins had 2 good chances to score where there was just him and the keeper and on both occasions Meslier was on top of him before he could blink. The first one was going wide & was covered by Koch anyway.

Every other opportunity that they had was a half chance.

Villa are shit under Gerrard, any other manager would have seen the boot by now.
