Got my booster (Pfizer) on Monday afternoon. Thought I got off scot-free with no side effects through the day and most of the night, but I am currently in bed getting my ass kicked. Arm pain is worse than anticipated and I feel like an ice cube.

Still worth it.

Similar but less severe I guess. Working away happily enough but definite signs of an active immune response, chills etc.

Helps that my afternoon opened up and made some gaps in my schedule which I fully intend to spend napping.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Moderna boosted yesterday.

All good, bar the pharmacist saying “Ooops” as the needle went in.

Not exactly what I wanted to hear from a professional.
I like it. What is it?

Got a lot worse for me after I posted this. Fever spiked. Swelling everywhere. The last 12 hours or so have been rough.

Seem to be on the back end of it, but fever is still evident, albeit lower. Stomach is killing me. Arm still sore.

Pretty miserable.

Just curious TH, did you have a similar bad reaction for your second Pfizer?

Yes I did, but this seemed worse. OK now though.

I had Moderna for my booster yesterday. Felt a bit achy and a headache last night so watched the game in bed. Feel pretty ok now.

Doh.

EU slowly moving to compulsory vaccination.
Now I am very, very pro-vax double jabbed and boosted, but very much against compulsory vaccination.
I know the arguments in favour and they are powerful, analogies
with seat belts and smoking in public spaces ...but to make it compulsory is a step too far for me.
Thoughts?

Boof it into everyone else in the developing world first would be my feeling.

Once they're all voluntarily vaxxed by all means pick on the retards.
